Everyone is aware of ageing and its effect on the human body. Various research has been conducted in this area, but very few accomplishments have been made so far.
Various references can be found in ancient Indian manuscript like Garud Puran, Manu Samhita where details of the lifespan of humans can be found. In Satya yug, the average lifespan of humans is said to be 100000 years, in Treta yug the lifespan was around 10000 years. The average lifespan in Dvapara yug was 1000 years. In Kali yug, the lifespan is said to be 100 years which will gradually decrease as time progresses. Also, the average height in Satya yug was 32 feet, and by the end of Kaliyug, it will be reduced to 1 foot with a lifespan of 12 years.
As per Ramayan, Lord Rama was throned as King and ruled Ayodhya for 11,000 years. It is believed that Bhima one of the five Pandavas went to battle with his fourth generation. Looking at this, we can tell that the science and technology present during that time was far advanced than the current generation. There are various feats found in ancient manuscripts which is not possible without having a long lifespan.
In this post, we will look into one such medicine found in Ayurveda which will help increase longevity and maintain good health.
There are only three ingredients required, and two of them can be easily found at home.
2. Dried Ginger
3. Haritaki /Kadukai
1. We need to take a tablespoon of ginger juice daily for three months.
2. Cover ginger with lime paste and dry it in the sun for a week. Burn the outer layer of the dry ginger and scrub it off. Grind it to a fine powder and dilute a tablespoon of this powder in warm water and drink it daily of the next three months.
3. Break the outer shell of Haritaki/Kadukai and grind it to a fine powder. Take this powder daily. The effect of ageing will be slowed down drastically as long as you take this powder.
